Fontana?s Trucking in Virden, MB is looking for a yard labourer/swamper to join our team full-time.
Yard hand duties include working in the pipe yard helping to load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, Helping unload railcars at our rail siding, and any other duties as assigned.
Swamper duties include but not limited to: working with picker and picker operator, moving tubing from service rigs, and setting pump jacks. While these are our main focus, there are many other jobs that come along with working with the picker. Other duties as assigned including washing vehicles, greasing, Etc.
We are looking for someone who is:
Dependable, Punctual, and a good team player.
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends working on a 12 on, 2 off schedule
Must be capable of working on feet in various climates
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Strong spatial awareness
Willingness to learn and grow with the company
Reliable transportation to and from work and driver?s license required
Oil field tickets required, will provide training for the right candidate. Preference is given to those who live in the area. Wage depending on experience and qualifications.
