Position Description
Rivers Home Hardware is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator & Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will support residential construction projects from estimating through completion, coordinating with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and trades to keep projects organized, on schedule and within budget. This is a great opportunity for an experienced construction estimator, project coordinator, junior project manager, or contractor looking to transition into an office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates, proposals and change orders
- Complete material takeoffs and gather supplier/subtrade pricing
- Coordinate project schedules, trades, materials and deliveries
- Track project costs and budgets
- Prepare progress billings and final invoices
- Manage customer selections, approvals and project documentation
- Follow projects from estimating through completion
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, trades and subcontractors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction estimating, project coordination, project management or a related role
- Strong knowledge of residential construction and building materials
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings
- Strong organization, communication and time-management skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with material takeoffs and supplier/subtrade pricing
A combination of relevant construction experience and education will be considered.
