Is there a watchdog/Ombudsman or licensing body that a person can complain about an insurance company to? I had flights cancelled back in April and I am STILL trying to get my money back from Visa. I was told it could take 15 weeks to resolve because of COVID. Understandable given the amount of claims that they are dealing with, but the 15 weeks from when they received my claim was up on August 5th. They have confirmed that they have all the documentation required. Now we are about 30 weeks and I am done being patient! Complaining directly to the insurance company does nothing, they don’t even answer emails.
