Credit Cards?

I've been looking into a first time credit card for some time now but am not really sure what all I should be looking for besides low interest rates, graces periods vs. no grace period and any additional pluses (1% cash back for travel, groceries, entertainment, etc) I was just curious to see what all experiences the people of ebrandon have had with what cards, good vs. bad, etc. My family and I are planning on moving and we were thinking of getting one to be on the safe side and for any extras we see on the trip.
