World Financial NN Bank Credit Card Letter

Just an FYI. I received a letter in the mail indicating that I, Chris Barth, was denied a credit card due to unverified SIN# and ID#. I'm not Chris Barth..nor does this person exist. I called the 1-800 number, to which they ask you to give them your SIN and bank account #. Yeah right!! NOT! I googled the bank name and came across some links referring to this scam. Addresses, phone# and postal codes are easily acquired in this day and age, so they send out random letters, people call the 1-800 #, to try and straighten out the problem..only to give away their personal information. Just sharing my findings in case someone else comes across this situation.
