We're looking at getting tenants insurance, we need something specific covered under our insurance (contents insurance) that not all places will cover its a very large aquarium, and not just if it springs a leak. We want insurance that if the tank broke we'd get the tank replaced, or if the heater stays on we'll get our livestock replaced. I know it can be done, someone I know in Winnipeg has it, but I don't know if anywhere in Brandon offers this. What are some different places that I can try for insurance? This is the first time getting insurance, so I honestly don't know. I pay my insurance for my car through western financial, but it's the same everywhere. Will all the different insurance places offer different policies for tenants insurance?

I just went into Guild (which is where I have my car insurance) and spoke to a consultant about what I needed. If you go into Western they should be able to set you up with an insurance advisor who can explain your options.
