Not finished...

I thought we've figured this out from the last few projects for our highways that the contractors of MIT will drag their @$$ as long as they want. They're not done, plain and simple. One bridge sits 'dark' with no lighting up/on, the other still has the barriers that need finishing. The temporary switch-over for traffic on the north side needs removal and whatever the plan for Pacific Ave. will need to be started. All that crap should have been worked on earlier, but we know how things work around here with Highways... Things always get delayed. Wasn't the weather this summer, but something else will be the excuse. Look no further up at Highway 10 North. After three years... and still not done. Should we be surprised that these people won't "kick over the construction speed zone sign" and allow the original posted speed limit to resume? ...I'm going to assume once again, like in all of the previous projects with the roads, that whatever the "delay" is, will be eventually resolved (weather, supplies, manpower, sub-trades or money). And they'll decide to return to the project whenever they bloody-well feel like it. Just 'pucker-up' and kiss their @$$ like they want us to for getting the second bridge opened to traffic with only a months delay. Because like highway 10, these people could just drag-it-out way past the projected timeline without still even reaching the original set goals. ...an improved and safer roadway.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
