Just wanted to say what an awesome concert Aaron Pritchett put on last night at the WMCA.  
Band was entertaining and sounding awesome.  
Crowd was a typical Brandon crowd Sparse and hardly anyone up dancing and having fun.  
My girlfriend stood up to dance and the lady next to her tapped her on the leg and wanted her to sit down.  
And others had to move in order to dance cause they were asked to sit down.  
PEOPLE ITS A CONCERT ....THE ENTERTAINERS WANT THE CROWD TO PARTICIPATE AND HAVE FUN ...ITS NOT CHURCH GET UP AND HAVE FUN.  
YOU WANT CONCERTS TO COME BUT IF YOUR GONNA SIT THERE ON YOUR HANDS ...ENTERTAINERS WILL NOT COME BACK  
VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH LAST NIGHTS CROWD AND I'M SURE THE BAND WAS ALSO

people pay good money to go to concerts. Just because you want to get up and dance around, maybe others don't.  
 
They would like to sit there and "see" and enjoy the entertainer.  
 
You would be blocking their view.  
 
There is nothing wrong with sitting down to watch a concert - not everyone goes to dance and move around. Some people jut like to sit, listen and see the entertainer.  
 
I know it has become a "me, me" world, with no respect for others around that paid good money.  
 
Sad - the reason I won't pay good money to see a concert.  
 
Entertainers don't really care if you are up moving around, or sitting down - they just want a sell out.

first off the lady was beside us so no we were not blocking her view  
 
secondly entertainers do care that the crowd is involved ......might be why when he came out for his encore basicly begged crowd to get out of there seats and get involved ...but he didn't care (balony)  
Brett Kissel concert in late 2018 crowd was up dancing the whole time  
.You can tell when an entertainer is into the crowd .  
puts more effort into the shows .  
 
Oh and i paid good money as well to go and have a good time

People pay good money regardless if they are going to sit or stand. If you prefer to sit & EXPECT the rest of the crowd to as well, you should be attending the symphony instead.  
 
On the other side of your argument, it becomes a 'Me, me, me' world when people expect others to behave a certain way ie: sitting in their seats... because that is what they prefer.  
 
We should consider ourselves lucky to be able to bring this type of entertainment to little ol' Brandon.  
 
Works both ways - if I feel like dancing, I have no problem getting up out of my seat.... I don't care what you think!

Personally I Agree! When I’m at a concert I love to get up and dance and sing. I personally think there should be a section for concert goers where you have the option to sit/stand along with a section for just sitting. Of course all the same price (unless in different sections like the MTS). I know I spend good money to go to concerts and I’m okay with people dancing around as long as they are not being distracting and respect others around them! Again, this is just my opinion.

Definition of a concert a musical performance given in public, typically by several performers or of several separate compositions.  
I go to a concert to listen to music not watch asses and elbows.  
There are venues one can attend that accommodate dancing.  
This auditorium does not!  
Be respectful to other concert goers!

As i stated earlier in this thread it was the lady beside us that had issue with us up dancing ...not the ones behind us they never said anything

heading to the back if you want to get up and dance. So you are not blocking the people's view of the concert, then no one would be bothered.  
 
Perhaps some people have issues, that they cannot get up and stand and dance around - one never knows what another person is going through and that is just being respectful.  
 
It really does not matter if it was beside you or behind you......go to the back and dance all you want and let others that want to sit see the show.

i paid for those spots just like the other person why should we move

and again if it would have been at the Brett Kissel concert ...same venue ..no one sat down everyone up dancing singing along having a blast and no we weren't drunk or drinking at either concert  
 
again were all there to have a good time ,dance if you want , sing along

dance all you want, don't care if the people that want to sit and just enjoy the concert cannot see the entertainer.

It would be the ones behind you who you would be blockingif you got up to dance. The lady beside you probably found it distracting. It is a concert not a dance.

I wondered how a concert there would go...as I assumed people would want to dance but wondered if others would get mad.  
 
Maybe it’s just me but I just assume that there will be people wanting to dance at a concert. I have some pain that prevents me from standing or sitting for too long and I’d never even think to be mad at someone for dancing in front of me at a concert while I was sitting  
lol.  
 
I mean, maybe if you were dancing at the soundtrack in a movie, I could see why people would be annoyed....but dancing at a concert?!? Oh the horrors!
