Responsibilities:
? Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
? Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
? Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions.
? Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
? Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
? Provide guidance and support to apprentices or less experienced electricians
Skills and Qualifications:
? Journeyperson Electrician License/Certification required
? Minimum of 1 year of experience as a journeyperson electrician is preferred
? Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage, fire alarm, conduit bending
? Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
? Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
? Strong communication skills and teamwork skills
? Must have a valid Class 5 Driver?s License
