court procedings,need advice

My daughter is currently going thru a fight with my grandsons father.He wants full custody.The courts are saying she can not leave the city of Winnipeg.She has moved and has bought a new house in Brandon,she is engaged and to marry next year.Now the court says they all need to have a mental accesment.what does this consist of? Does anyone have any advice as to what is to come.thanks in advance for any info.
